Alternative to vinyl transfer paper

I love my Silhouette Cameo.  I used it this afternoon to cut some vinyl letters for a quick set of Boo pumpkins.  If you have a cutting machine, then you’ve probably needed transfer paper at one time or another.  It makes it so much easier to place vinyl shapes and letters.

Did you know that lint roller refill sheets make a great alternative to the name brand transfer paper?  Not only are they widely available at the big box stores, but they don’t leave a residue like Glad Press ‘N Seal, and they’re less expensive than painter’s tape.  Having used the name brand transfer paper myself, I can say first hand that the refill sheets work just as well, but at a fraction of the cost.   That makes them a winner in my book, and my go-to method for vinyl transfer!  What’s your favorite method?

Thanks for stopping by!
